Full Placement

Every Full Placement starts with the Engagement Fee. The Placement Fee is then invoiced on the candidate's start date, based on the engagement type.

Incentives

Any eligible incentive will be calculated by Matchbox Talent and applied on your invoice. Discounts do not stack. The Early Bird Credit and the Repeat Hire Discount may not be used together.

All fees are exclusive of GST if applicable.

I have read and understood the Matchbox Talent Service Terms and agree to be bound by them.

In particular, I understand that:

• Matchbox Talent retains candidate ownership for 12 months from introduction. If I hire an introduced candidate within that period, directly or through another source, the placement fee applies.
• I must notify Matchbox Talent in writing within 48 hours if I already knew about a candidate before the introduction.
• Once a candidate starts, all employment entitlements (salary, superannuation, leave, workers compensation) are my responsibility. This applies to permanent, part-time, and fixed-term placements.
• Interviewing a candidate introduced by Matchbox Talent constitutes acceptance of these Service Terms, whether or not this agreement is signed.

If this is a Part-Time placement:

• The placement fee is pro-rata based on hours worked against a 38-hour full-time week. For example:
  • 0.5 FTE (19 hours per week): $1,450 plus GST if applicable, 45 days guarantee.
  • 0.6 FTE (23 hours per week): $1,755 plus GST if applicable, 54 days guarantee.
  • 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week): $2,289 plus GST if applicable, 71 days guarantee.
• If the role increases to full-time (38 hours per week) within 90 days of the start date, I pay the balance of the full permanent placement fee and the Guarantee Period resets to 90 days from the change date.

If this is a Fixed-Term placement:

• The placement fee and Guarantee Period are based on the contract length in months, as set out in Section 04.
• The proposed start and end dates are for the record only. They do not change the fee or the Guarantee Period.
• If the contract is extended and the role remains substantially the same, the placement fee is recalculated based on the new total contract length. I pay the difference at the time of extension.
• If the contract is extended but the role changes substantially (different job title, different core duties, or different pay band), the extension is treated as a new placement. A new engagement fee and placement fee apply, and the guarantee resets to 90 days from the new start date.
• If the fixed-term placement is converted to a permanent role, I pay the balance of the full permanent placement fee. The fixed-term fee already paid is credited against it. The standard 90-day permanent replacement guarantee applies from the date of conversion.

By typing my full name, I confirm I am authorised to sign on behalf of the client business and agree to be bound by this Service Agreement.
